Starting Up

I'm planning on starting this blog to help me write down and remember all the memories I'll be making with my little family! I plan on blogging mainly for myself and to keep friends and family updated on our life, but we'll see how this blog evolves. Really, we'll see how often I can actually update this though since taking care of a 3 month old can certainly eliminate a lot of free time. Even as I type this right now I'm watching her on the baby monitor as she naps, ready to jump up as soon as she wakes!

I created the blog name based off my nickname, Kissy. I'm still not 100% sure how I got the nickname. One story I heard was that I was just so adorable as a baby that everyone wanted to kiss me. Another story is that I would blow kisses to everyone, especially the boys, in church. I think the nickname came about because of both stories! I also chose the blog name as an evolution of another old online journal username I had, misskissy. I used that online journal in college when I was a young single thing. Now that I'm a wife and a mother, Mrs-Kissy just seems appropriate!

I’ll be working on fun posts about Cora for everyone, but for now here’s a little glimpse into our happy life!
